It's hard to explain because this Club is not put together in a way my country would put it together.
It revolves around a club which involves some wonderful characters and some not so wonderful characters. I didn't understand it then, but the show, with excellent actors, stories, explanations, and cinematography showing the beauty of Istanbul, explained it without too much complexity.
I remember watching the news in the 60s when the military took over Turkey. My question is why did I have to go looking for it in Netflix? Why isn't it on my front wall? If not for the recommendation here in IMDb, I would have missed this gem! The story takes place in Istanbul, Turkey around the 1950s through the 60s. If you like historical stories, well told, with some allowances, mostly truthful, then this excellent show is for you.
